Meltdown in GSFTW chat - "everything got deleted" - "silencing people looks sooooo good" On nazifurs: "The presence of these people tears cons apart" On protests about them: "kick out everyone who's being political" (6/6)

Today's new GSFTW apology is getting much more of the same public reaction. Mismanage, apologize, get lit up for not sticking by their word, rinse and repeat.

GSFTW chat is absolutely on fire with shitposting comparisons to Free Fur All, complaints about being censored, staff angry at corrupt board, and directly challenging staff to resign.

Can't keep up

GSFTW chat has been completely locked by mods suppressing calls for staff to resign to let the con die and start with new leadership.

If you reached this point, here's the top post again for reference. This thread got longer than a list of GSFTW excuses. bsky.app/profile/dogp... Plus, answer to: why now?

Nazis are so inherently toxic, you either stop them at the door, or have a bigger problem when they vindictively retaliate at being evicted. Case in point; nazifur Chris "Astral" Curtis is crying lawsuit to intimidate people using their free speech to accurately describe mismanagement at GSFTW.

Of course Astral is doing a baby tantrum and playing Karen about people who care about their community. There's no actual case and you can call him a nazi to your heart's content.

GSFTW board don't get how over it is. Everyone has seen how they handled Dashing's bullshit and the nazifurs with utter subservience. They are incapable of detaching from fatal liability.

"No, we'll actually do real action this time and stick by our word without reversing it again, this time will be different, we swear, trust us". Instead of just not inviting Nazis and saving themselves from self-inflicted destruction.

ConFurmed Events recommends not supporting GSFTW x.com/ConFurmedEve...

A tipper sent archived chat with Peter/arcticwindsphoto/Flynn, the GSFTW volunteer interviewed on Fox News and welcomed in their groups. The chat questions Peter about doxing other furries on Kiwifarms.

GSFTW has deleted their January promise to ban hate group members, at some point recently, while they also recently removed such bans without explanation and caused the storm of protest about mismanagement. This was deleted from Twitter, and their announcement channel was entirely deleted as well.

GSFTW also reopened their locked Telegram chat to a storm of protest. They are attempting damage control again, by having Dashing announcing leaving (again), with no explanation for the mismanagement decisions or how he will transfer his ownership of the con.

For damage control, GSFTW belatedly removed chat member W0nder again (after lifting his ban without explanation - why?) W0nder is a personal friend of con management. He says he was banned for "being Republican" when he had posted about wanting to ram protesters with his car and being transphobic.

To back up W0nder being friend of con management, posted after his first ban that was mysteriously lifted without explanation to everyone who would have to put up with him.

From GSFTW chat: a powerful message summing up how much the members feel failed by managers who favor problematic friends, instead of community interest. (Needs documenting in case of deletion.) Shy Matsi, now assumed leader if Dashing leaves, has been silent to all concerned.

"you've lost both GOH"

Shy Matsi, the silent GSFTW chair who acts proxy for his friend Dashing, is being scrutinized for a history of favoring problem people. Shy harbors multi-convicted sex offender Growly in his hookup group Furries Xtreme. "There are people so toxic that if you allow them, everyone is gonna leave."

Today: Growly present in the Furries Xtreme hookup chat of GSFTW chair Shy Matsi.

WHAT FURRY is not aware of the absolute shit heel that is Growly?!? How could anyone allow them within 1,000 (digital or physical) of themselves???
