Shy brought in a personal friend, Sotalo, who is currently doing massive text walls to absolve the broken leadership of GSFTW as not knowing anything about the problem people they were repeatedly warned about, lied about removing, invited back, and then had the con's official lies deleted.

Reminder that Dashing was warned by staff about his Furry Raiders friends in early 2020 as the con was being established, called it "politics," went on their podcast, spent years of inviting them back in, faced now 3 staff revolts over it, and is still crying innocence with Shy's support.

In the current purged chat: former staff is arguing with board over resigning and being blamed for the departure of 4 other staffers recently.

Here's how Shy's personal friend Sotalo wants to "fix" GSFTW with more lies. Recall that the con's resigned head of PR said they were lied to and not informed about Fox News, and the cameras were escorted by board as they did lengthy interviews that were boasted about on kiwifarms.

Here's Sotalo (from Florida, not NJ) entering the purged GSFTW chat, and announcing "don't lie" before proceeding to do just that, using soft language to absolve the offenders. Saying "I'm here to help" and asking for feedback is a ploy to play Good Cop about the bans before launching walls of text.

Sotalo from Florida pretends to listen to NJ furs, while doing the opposite and calling public protest about the evidence "a horde of liars". Sotalo cites bans on "politics" as a credit to management, ignoring the twisted way it was used to protect nazifurs by labeling complaints as politics.

They think this con can be saved by repeatedly denying what they did, playing ignorant, and trying to bulldoze complaints of repeatedly being ignored.

Wall of text excuses didn't work for their last attempt at an official statement, but the same tactic is back more aggressively from Sotalo in Florida. This ignores how Dashing, the board, and GSFTW chat admins dismissed evidence as "politics" and welcomed banned people back. A Gish Gallop of lies.

More of the same. The tactic here is relentless firehose of excuses. "until Fox News showed up, he (Dashing) only ever saw people as friends" - after being repeatedly warned about his friends.

"Sorry not sorry but if anyone needs to start "learning to trust each other", it's the board." Sotalo is floundering in a sea of excuses. Saying "NO MORE LIES" is admitting that con management repeatedly lied to it's own staff, paying members, and the public. Yet you're wrong for not trusting again.

Once again Sotalo is pushing the mismanagement excuse that protest about nazifurs was about "personal problems" and not a serious security threat

GSFTW management and chat mods taking hit after hit for lying about problematic friends, falling back to excuses about procedure for banning, then being questioned about why they inconsistently favored their friends who were unbanned.

Cons are a *massive* financial commitment. You can't just cancel them, there's contracts with the hotels and event space. They're hoping for a 'breaks even' crowd, or at least enough that they won't be in debt the rest of their lives...
