this is a good joke but this also speaks to a truth about 2025 America: the growing, horrible sense among many people that running scams is the only path to basic financial stability this is, of course, utter poison for human society

I’m also not saying that it is at all ACCURATE that people must run scams to enjoy financial stability - the problem is that a lot of people increasingly have come to believe this is so, for not totally un-understandable reasons
