Ok here’s the deal. For every Bending Spoons acquisition, we build an atproto version that this can never happen to again. I kind of thought we had more time, but I think we don’t.

like my thing is always gonna be data semantics something like svg for example is too fine-grained; you need something chunkier (like "a sticky note") and all these apps have roughly the same concept (of eg a "sticky note") but then the state they emit is all different

i guess an atprotofied version of something like miro (or whatever) would be a log of discrete editing moves, but then you'd also need an inventory of objects and their attendant semantics (eg in miro a sticky note is just represented by x/y coordinates and text, at least that's what its api emits)
