What's your take on AI DOS games? Like if a modern DOS game is solely or mostly AI generated? Should it be included on dosgames.com as-is? Included with a prominent AI disclaimer? Or not allowed at all?

The fact that this is even a question concerns me... :| There is unfortunately no perfect answer which satisfies everyone and you are more likely to draw ire and lose the most support trying to find a middle ground. Either allow all GenAI-made games or none. (I would recommend none.)

Allowing none is the approach I've taken so far. It hasn't really come up too much yet but it will in the future. It came to mind because I saw a post on Reddit about someone's fully vibe coded DOS game.

DOS Gaming (just like Amiga gaming before it) was an era of embracing technical progress and maximum experimentation - that's what still makes it interesting. My take: nobody needs vibecoded garbage, but if the result is new and interesting, why care whether it was done with the help of an agent.
