What does success mean concretely here ? Could we for example rehome some furry websites (ex: FA) to drastically reduce expenses or something ?

One of the big advantages is that the bulk of registration fees from people registering a domain goes to a furry-run non-profit, reinvested directly into community efforts instead of a corporate brand. Anyone would be able to register a .furry domain, subject to following our code of conduct.

hm, probably not, I doubt the domain is what makes FA expensive. The real benefit is having a cohesive, community run tld for the whole fandom

Would you please be able to explain very concretely what the benefit is for people who want to make websites or people who simply use them ?

very basically? Just that you can get a cool things like "arcade.furry" instead of "arcade.com"
