As I go through my Sailor Moon Rewatch, I'm struck by how a character's coolness is often tied to how good they are at video games. Simpler times.

This cartoon for girls teaches many life lessons, like how the hottest person you know is a butch girl who drives a motorcycle and can beat you at video games.

one of my fave things is how all the girls who fell for her react when they find out she's also a girl. good character development.

Minako: "No homo! Unless..." Rei: "She's a girl? Oh thank g- I mean THAT'S FOR PERVERTS" Makoto: "Haruka teach me your ways" Usagi: *screams in bisexual*

makoto in particular cracks me up because when she finds out she is basically like "what? oh, cool"
