Just FYI, you won't see me at the big ReedPop conventions (ECCC, SDCC, C2E2, NYCC, etc) because their parent company is infamous for feeding people's data to ICE. Honestly it wasn't a hard call, half these shows put all the artists in haunted basements now anyway bleedingcool.com/pop-culture/...

SDCC is run by a non-profit. So they aren’t feeding people’s data to ICE. While they are a big unwieldy monster, they’ve in general been better about stuff because they are a non-profit (like right after COVID shut downs ended, they were the only con I went to that enforced their mask policy)

No worries. I just didn’t want a non-profit to get lumped in with capitalist bootlickers. SDCC has its problems but they are problems do to volunteers organizing and higher up infighting. Not unstoppable greed number must go up at all costs problems.
