This made me realize I don’t struggle very much with imposter syndrome, but at the same I don’t really consider myself to have any particular strengths in art. Except maybe that even when I have limited skills/knowledge in something I can often come up with some fun/silly/smart solution to a problem

Artists, I think we're all too comfortable sharing our imposter syndrome. I would love to see you step out of your comfort zone and confidently state what you think you're actually really good at. No self deprecation, just what you think you're the strongest at Is anyone brave eniough? 👀

I think the simplest example in drawing is perspective, I mostly don’t do it ’right.’ I wing it, make it somewhat orthographic and let it be a bit wonky. It becomes part of my style. I don’t really care

I used this exact example recently to illustrate why I don’t feel comfortable applying to pure “art” jobs in games. not sure if it helps, but i’ve always found your art incredibly inspiring, regardless of whether or not it’s technically precise

Yeah it limits you a bit for sure but if you're not looking to get hired it's fine. I've managed to get hired and freelanced a fair bit despite it though so it is doable ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ And thank you Drew!
