“Our plans for the future of AI involved disregarding and degrading human rights and the needs of human beings in favor of developing our massive technological marvel. Awesome, huh?!”

Much of what motivates me politically at this point is just wanting these people to face consequences for their recklessness. They act as if they must make our hard decisions for us, we should make it their hard decision for them.

One gets the sense that folks like Altman think it's indisputable that they are brilliant minds & great men, & so as a result, the rest of the world OWES it to them to let them do their "great men" things (& profit wildly in the process)

Just saying the same thing every industry knows, but keeps quiet on. You think the plastics and wood pulp companies don't think the same thing? Everything you do, hurts someone else.

He's proven he cares about no one he assaulted his own sister when she was a child. A man with no morals or conscience is a monster. A man with no morals or conscious with money is dangerous.

You first Sam. I propose that OpenAI and all of its executives be indicted for hacking. Oh and Anthropic and its execs too. They've ALL DONE IT. Felony hacking. They've ALL ADMITTED TO IT. Why are they not being indicted for this?

I spent nearly 20 years in IT and fintech. Nobody I worked with would have got away with saying "we'll launch, some customers will be defrauded, that's the price of progress." Regulators would have shut us down, and rightly so. Why does AI get a pass we'd never give a bank?
