I'm not going to spend the next few years playing this game. Don't nominate Newsom. That's the solution here. We are telling you loudly and clearly we're not voting for him. He is a phony who will not stand up to anyone he needs to stand up to, so don't cut your own throats by nominating him.

I suggest not getting too caught up this the way people did in 2024. There will be 2 candidates, and I'm (hopefully *we*) are voting for whoever opposes the the party that gave us Trump and all the damage that came with it.

You may not agree, but sitting out or voting third party might as well be a vote for the opposition. One party puts an antivaxxer sociopath in charge of our nations' health. The other doesn't. There are countless other reasons to hold my nose and do whatever it takes to keep the GOP out of power.

Gee, explain it to me like I'm stupid. Voting for Newsom is also a vote for the opposition. Hence my position. Don't. Nominate. Newsom.

I don't think you're stupid, I think you're understandably frustrated. I hope you vote for whoever opposes the GOP in 2028, and in the meantime keep fighting the good fight.
