😂😂 I have often wondered about this symbol. The Romans used this uniquely horrifying way to kill people. If they had been aficionados of hanging or beheading, would nooses or ax & block be hung on church walls or enshrined in stained glass? Seems pretty gory to me.
Lmao the human body cannot be nailed on a cross through the hands and the feet and be expected to not fall off. Even the son of God had to deal with gravity
OMFG.
I, AGAIN, snorted wine out my nose.
Bluesky needs a "swallow first" warning system.
If you ain't drinking or eating foodstuffs, you can disregard this. Hopefully, you won't be laughing at the time...
A comedian once asked “ who would want to belong to a club or organization whose symbol is a guy who has been to tortured and killed nailed to a cross?”
I got one for ya:
Q: What's the difference between Jesus on the cross and a picture of Jesus on the cross?
A: It only takes one nail to hang a picture of Jesus on the cross...
I remember some years ago... OK decades ago, a comedian on NPR from Puerto Rico mentioning his aunt had a job at a crucifix factory. Her job, 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, was nailing Jesus to the cross.
