I’m so sick of these republican politicians whining about trump now, right before an election they might lose because they’ve been kowtowing to trump all along and did absolutely nothing to rein him in, so now that he’s wrecked the global economy, it’s “poor me. I’m gonna lose my seat”. Barf. 🤮

I've served at every level of law enforcement. Why is there large contingents of ICE thugs at contractually PRIVATE detention centers? They're being paid billions to run those. Why are we paying for their security? There shouldn't be any more than a nominal ICE presence at these PRIVATE facilities.

Watched “Remarkably Bright Creatures” on Netflix last night. Very enjoyable. I recommend it. Discovered it’s based on a book, which I now have a hold on in Libby.

This is how my mom was after she had a stroke at 85. She recovered enough to be able to walk and swallow, but mentally she kept going downhill. The last couple of years of her life, she fell asleep often and woke up talking about weird stuff, totally unconnected to the current reality.

I know that Trump was invited to the party, because they always invite the president. But why were so many of his cabinet there and Vance? Who invited all of them? Is that normal for that annual press party?
