As a European, I can only reply with: 😢 We now have to build the EU. Up to 1991, the USA & ruZZia dominated & separated us. Luckily, we de-armed to unite. Now we have to re-arm again, this time united. Go fuck yourself, ruZZia. You are a dying empire. Go fuck yourself, USA. You became idiocracy.

No, we don't. That's the difference. We are grateful to the USA and ruZZia. Up to ruZZia invading Crimea. And even afterwards we tried to remain friends (stupid but true). Now the same thing to the USA: we are happy to trade with you. Greenland is the borderline.

And up to a point, you are right. USA dominated western Europe, USSR dominated the east. In 1991 we started the PEACEFUL process of re-uniting Europe. De-armament was a requisite for that; you can't be friends with your neighbours when 90% of your weaponry is pointed at them.
