Nuh huh, contrary to popular belief, it's usually 2 games (neither of which have any differences between them) which are the same games and also the same as the two before it

?

I have a psychological disorder which requires that I collect all of the art. In layman’s terms, I GOTTA CATCH’EM ALL

Gosh yes

I was angling for a Vaporeon adjacent joke.

Right? I will play the Pokemon in smash brothers because in that case I am the Creature and I am the one fighting

Reminds of Call Of Duty where every couple years they’d release the same game with new and weirder guns.

<3

Lately I think of pokémon as being like a sanrio

But yet, if you look back (I play Pokemon as well), the movesets are all the same, and so are many of the stats. They're ultimately just rehashes of the same. damned. think. I won't be getting ZA though. I'll play a better version, like Legends Arceus, or even Palworld.

I think there’s a card game…;)

Nintendo doesn't have any staff working on Pokemon

this is how i also engage with pokemon but my wife got me to play a for fun league with my friends and its a pretty okay time, still never buying an actual game myself thankgod for showdown

There's a card game too. The way the gameplay works is you put the cards in a big binder and show them to the other 4th graders at lunch.

I thought it was a card game

Yes. Well. Pokemon wasn't out yet when I was ten years old. Probably that's why I don't like it.

Pokemon company has some of the best character designs I've seen in media. New Pokemon/human designs are for everyone to enjoy!
