Benn Jordan's analysis from the start of this year showed them pretty high, between the (lower than Amazon) Deezer/Tidal tier and the (higher than Amazon) Qobuz tier. I remember struggling to verify Jordan's numbers with other sources.

I believe Jordan has a new analysis this month, and there are several other studies or articles you'll find if you search giving numbers. (Not looking myself, busy today.) But it appears if you can stomach the unusually odd interface, Amazon is high tier among streaming services on payouts.

Cheers, the articles i could find were out of date and suggested Tidal were 2-3 times better for the artist than amazon. I'm surprised: Amazon aren't always known for doing the right thing

I might have seen those same articles. It's possible Amazon payouts are for some reason inconsistent and that's why some analyses show them with low payouts and some with high.
