Yes, I'm glad Kinzinger is advocating for anti-Trump now. But at one time he (apparently) closed his eyes to a lot of Republican ugliness.

“But” what? That in no way negates his clarity and contribution now. In fact, it makes him remarkably brave (he and his family get threats) and remarkably useful (understands the mindset on the other side). He has earned the right to be respected for who he is today.

But the whole party decided to do whatever treasonous shit they want and he still identifies as a Republican. They're focused on serving Israel and Russia not anything else the claim to stand for.
