Worth a watch: Head of Signal, Meredith Whittaker, on so-called "agentic AI" and the difference between how it's described in the marketing and what access and control it would actually require to work as advertised.

Thank you @meredithmeredith.bsky.social for stating this. I know a lot of tech companies love the idea of selling data and Ai in general has built a lot of hype for investors, but it's clear once the sizzle is gone, there is no steak, only security and privacy issues. We need laws to regulate it.
