Eden, but spooky? 🌸💀

They say "Don't stare!", but I think this is the most intense some (thing?) has ever looked at me ... I kinda like it 👉👈 | #Art #EldritchHorror #DarkArt #Illustration |

I lobe eyes

Eden, but spooky? 🌸💀

Honestly, same! I used to draw them way more often, before I did character art, but I'm kinda in a renaissance of my environment art and taking the chance to throw in some stuff like this

This gave me DC Azazel vibes. And if you like to see comics that has a similar vibe to this piece of yours, he shows up in The Sandman Universe: Nightmare Country - The Glass House, #1-6. He's a bunch of eyes & mouths and some of his appearances are just like this.

Ohhhh!! I've not heard of that one before. Granted, I'm not super knowledgeable about DC-Comics, but I've watched the Sandman show with some friends and liked it. So I might dig into these. Thanks for the recommendation 👀

Haha, thank you!! It's rare for me to do a full composition like this, so this was a fun challenge 😊

my gut reaction makes me think of some kind of alternate eldritch horror version of The Long Dark. which sounds awesome tbh. anyways excellent work on this!

I can see the comparison now that you mention it, the abstract shape defined environment and the stark contrast between the snow and dark sky. Yup, but it wasn't on my mind while making it, haha. I think the closest to your description in a real game is Pacific Drive

Just now noticing the light on the coat from the car and the overall stylistic-realism of the car! Seriously amazing!

Eden, but spooky? 🌸💀

Thank you! The last time I shared a WIP, I didn't have the light refraction nor the car done. But I'm really happy with how both turned out, thank you for noticing! ☺️

Why is it ignoring the sign? There are clear instructions, how rude

@kaedio.bsky.social

This is gorgeous ;_; I had to do a double take because i thought the image was -moving- at first. Love love love the colors and contrast! 💙

Eden, but spooky? 🌸💀

Thank you!~ And nope, no movement, haha! Although that'd be cool, I don't think I have the energy to do such a thing

Always blown away by your work 💕

Eden, but spooky? 🌸💀

Actually, feel free to stare a little longer. Given my usual work pacing, it's most likely the last piece I'll make this year 😅
