Hello, I'm an animator who is hopelessly addicted to Flipnote Studio for the Nintendo DSi. Help. Also check out Altered Echo Studio on YouTube. https://t.crdtg2.com/331727/5165?aff_sub5=SF_006OG000004lmDN

Whoa, Bluesky finally added the yap update :0 I can yap to my heart's content now without ever getting limited :0 This is amazing! Why wasn't this a thing before? I can see all the possibilities now, all the range of nuance I can get into things. All I have to do is just think of a topic to actually

#SAM has started. #ScrewAcroMonth, the month of March where I animate 80 frames every day to peer pressure my friend(s) into also animating 80 frames a day. Here was day 1

And make backups. After that, it was a done deal. There's a more impressive version of that ending effect that just doesn't exist anymore, that took me at least many months to finish, back when I had more motivation. I tried to work on it again and I made the effect you see now.

But that's chill. That was hard to do, yeah. However, this scene? This one right here is the murderer. I tried to make this abunch of lines all slowly getting smaller. I made a ton over the course of a year and then I deleted my own progress.

This effect was already killer on my patience. All the slow moving, almost pixel perfect strings on a 3 inch screen. I was so proud of my animation that I tried cutting it so I could make a promo for sudomemo. Then I clicked save instead of save as. Losing alot. Remember to save often.

My favorite scene in this is this layered smoke effect. After years of thought, there was an easier way of doing it lol. Btw flipnote only has 2 layers that are limited to 1 color each.

The effects I did were alot of: I redraw something almost perfectly, purposefully having some defects so it looks in motion, have it be slightly smaller. Add dither, erase dither to be smaller because dither is only 3 thick. Frames like these could have taken anywhere from 10 to 40 minutes to make.

Let's Get Going part 10. He's still tr- ah. So uh, after this episode, I came to realize that I got too ambitious so this series went on another year long hiatus.

The soundtrack was created done by Hatena 360 for his collab. A few of the syncs weren't done well on my part, he actually added all the sound effects before I started.

Collaboration hosted by truestar is Shin that i really liked. Music: jubeat saucer We're So Happy by: Ryu animators in order: Exo> NioXoiN> B3â5t> Boom Rapid> #1 Blue Ninja> Smashman> Truestar
