Good work! Here is a syndicated article from August 1975 that is the likely source for Sinatra saying that 'Something' is the greatest love song of "the last half-century." As far as I know, George was the only Beatle Sinatra met by this time?

Huh! Sinatra expert Jonathan Schwarz says “his identification of Lennon/McCartney as writers went uncorrected for years” in his liner notes to The Reprise Collection (1990), and I would’ve sworn I can *hear* him saying it (but that very likely could be the mandela effect!).

I keep stumbling across thing like this where "everyone knows" that he said it but no one can say when he said it 😄 I'd love to be proved wrong, but he was crediting Harrison in all the recordings I've found.
