Easy enough to do the shopping with the right bike/attachments. Did it myself for years (have to admit I'm in a 'drive to Aldi' phase). It was a short post but the context is massively 'increased costs for people' vs 'things like cycling can save people thousands of pounds'

Agreed, but here’s some feedback. I agree broadly with your statement but at the same time, as an elected politician, it’s important to provide an informed opinion rather than what could be construed as a glib remark. I pushed back in that sense rather than in opposition to the principle.
