I firmly believe that Canada is about to become the next AI datacenter battlefield - Alberta especially. The PM is all in on AI and removing barriers like environmental studies and the province is all in on AI. Residents are starting to stand up but not quickly enough. /1

And worse still we have Libs even more holier-than-thou treating this PC in all but name dickhead like he's the sober adult in the room and not just granting every conservative policy he can cram through.

every day it becomes crazier that this dissonance is possible. being tricked by him in the first place is one thing given how he campaigned (still stupid, but understandable) but still hanging on his nuts in june 2026??? deeply pathetic

He's trying to justify dumping buttloads of govermment money into a variety of AI companies thinking he can just keep the bubble going. There's no way he's that dumb so I think it has to be malicious at this point.

This may or may not really reflect the financials here, as it's a very convenient argument for a PM who has a whole cabinet post dedicated to a ministry for AI and is desperately trying to build data centers in Canada.

Weren't these central banks the reason we are here? Isn't bubbles and AI scam the direct result of failed 2008 bailouts? Why are these failed people giving advice? Shouldn't they be first thrown out of office? How do we make the unelected people more accountable?
