Same with a bike. I don't wanna fight all the crowds. It's about equidistant for me to go to Embarcadero or 20th st, and if I have to go at rush hour, I've had much better luck "wasting" time by going to 20th to get on before everyone else does.

Ah yeah Ive been there, commuted by BART in the 10s, but I'm talking about folks waiting for a red train when the trains all have plenty of seats

But I’m not gonna get a seat at MacArthur. Almost guaranteed a seat at North Berkeley. I get off at civic center going into the city but going home I get on to 16th street, because I’ll trade smelling a little bit of pee to get a seat.
