my cheesecake factory observation is that it is pretty pricey, but everyone dresses causally. It is setup for your date night but it doesn't seem to get treated that way. Maybe bc going there and only eating cheesecake is a very valid and then not really that expensive (esp $/calorie)

the SF cheesecake factory is a good low energy date night since it's at the top of Macy's, nice view. And to @mtsw's point it must be in of the bluer parts of a blue city. But it doesn't have the high ceilings so lacks the full architectural experience Obama is talking about.

It’s the restaurant for people who don’t want to decide or have groups with too many picky eaters. I’ve had staff birthday lunches there but even my friend who loves chain restaurants has moved on to other chains.

He’s always been a big Old Spagheti Factory fan, which I will indulge because I think it is (historically) the best value out of the chains.
