banned pokémon episode 3: Electric Soldier Porygon wow the flashing was so obviously a bad idea from the first moment i saw it. like i'm (now) fairly confident i'm not epileptic, but full cyan/red alternating at 24fps was not exactly a delightful sensory experience. i don't know why they did this

otherwise a classic 90s Go Into Computer episode, complete with the threat of a rogue antivirus (the actual cause of the flashing — porygon had nothing to do with it) porygon is a pretty chill guy but doesn't do a lot really. mostly functions as a big default blender cube for everyone to ride on

Porygon deserved better. The only footage I've seen of the episode is the part where misty gets digitally uploaded. There was an edit that someone did that transformed her into a vaporeon instead (it was extremely high quality and sfw-ish, too).

Credits to the artist to making it look almost exactly like the show! XD Also Pikachu deserves the blame for the flashing lights. :v
