We decided we had too much work to do on Gold Country to attend this year's Free League Publishing #spelkongress despite having a whale of a time and meeting loads of new friends when we were invited last year. So, sadly we are not there. But our spies are!

first up, #LegendsofStormbringer the Elric themed version of Dragonbane, featuring the same Elric cover art that was licences for the very first edition of Drakar oct Demoner. our spy saw spreads with lovely red spot colour over black and white imagery. The magic system however will be different.

Back to our #FreeLeague #SpelKongress op-sec reports: Delegates (and our spies) also hears about the head about the revision and translation of one of the most famous #DoD campaign. Erik Granstrom's #Svavelvinter will known as #TheBrimstoneSleep in English. Here is the cover

And here is (I think) the map: This will be a standard Dragonbane book. Since it is its own world that is quite particular (influences from early Renaissance Italy and Ancient Sumer including the god Marduk) our spy thinks that it is a standalone. Though Erik says it can be connected with Ereb Altor

Then the long awaited Twilight 2000: Operation Reset. This been long delayed The aim is to release in Spring 2027. Free League worked with military consultants to get the minutia correct. They had to do a lot of research to get things right regarding how Warzaw and Stockholm looked in the 1990s.

Remember that campaign that was promised in Vaesen's Core Book? The one that "started" with the example adventure? Now, finally, it's on the way! Written more or less at the same time as the rulebook. It took so long to publish because of the slow but constantly growing audience - apparently

There are TWO new books coming for #CoriolisTheGreatDark Across the Abyss - an explorer themed campaign where they have drawn inspiration from The Terror, among other things, written by Gareth Hanrahan! Free Leauge are very pleased with his work. The Dying City is a source book about Ship City.

Overall these books seem to expand the limited "Delving" centred game - The Dying city is inspired by Blades in the Dark and written by Elinor Hingley. They hope they will be able to make an announcement about The Walking Dead for Spelkongress 2027. No immediate Tales from the Loop plans.
