I remember looking at a LiveJournal confessions page ages ago where someone was like "I really related to Light. I was bored in school and had a strong sense of justice. That's why my heart broke when the show came to an end and I realized he was the villain" and it was like "took you a while huh!!"

Mine is people who interpret Ralph Wiggum saying "Oh boy, sleep! That's where I'm a viking!" as metaphorical (something like "I'm good at sleeping") instead of literal (something like "I am a viking in my dreams, and I don't understand that dreams aren't real")
