If Burnham says "Thatcher was really shit and messed up the country" I'll be onboard. Carrying on playing within her rules will leave me cold.

buddy thatcher is a big chunk of the reason we got to join the eu and the single market. this is like the single issue where criticising thatcher is actively counterproductive

"Fix everything" means dismantling Thatcher's ideology or we'll just get more of the same. She was gone before the EU and she may not have liked the way it's gone. For her it was only about the cash/trade.
