So GBR is a huge grift then, and the main part of a train network isn't going public at all. Great that Kate is calling this out but damn, this is a classic Labour bait & switch. Why she remains in a party that is clearly fundamentally opposed to all of her principles & views is beyond me.

With Great British Railways, Labour is bringing passenger services into public ownership. But the rolling stock itself will remain in private hands. I support ASLEF campaign to own our trains and have a truly public railway
