All things end and this, too, shall end. It won't not soon, and it probably won't be in our life times. But it will end. I take so much comfort believing that there will be a generation one day who gets to live freely and happily. I have to believe that. So I must keep fighting, for them.

Trans πŸ‘ phobic πŸ‘ groups πŸ‘ test πŸ‘ ran πŸ‘ this πŸ‘ tactic. Well done for capitulating to them, over and over.

The BBC are a disgusting organisation. Their campaign against trans people is active and it is relentless.

Bethany wore a β€œProtect The Dolls” t-shirt during rehearsals. The BBC posted it on their socials then quietly deleted and reposted it without showing her from the front. On TV last night they actually blurred the message #Strictly

If you added our Holborn and St Pancras swing to any result in a future Green target seat, dozens of mostly Labour MPs would be replaced by Greens. We are not here to be disappointed in Labour. We are here to replace them.

If you decided you had to pick between punching a baby or punching two babies, which would you choose? I'd just punch one baby myself, because of what a good person I am. Everyone tell me what a good person I am while I punch this baby.

Pirate Redux@pirateredux.bsky.social

So here's a question. You can have a PM who prioritises EITHER Rejoining the EU OR Eradicating ONE of a) transphobia, b) racism, c) ableism What will you go for?

Incredibly hilarious that the Government has had to separate out Palestine Action arrests into their own category because even they can see how damaging it is to bundle these figures in with actual terrorism related arrests. The Labour party's legacy is an embarrassing joke.

andy burnham and @lucympowell.bsky.social are responsible for a 1,553% increase in terrorist activity in the uk. shameful shit. vote green.

Don't vote for genocide deniers.

Owen Jones@owenjones.bsky.social

Beyond awkward. Look how the Labour candidate in Holborn and St. Pancras responded when Palestine was mentioned. 😱😱😱😱

It's kind of sad how proud we are of this decaying, barely functional system. It's 2026, we're one of the last democracies to continue to use an adversarial chamber, when are we going to ditch the nostalgia and grow up?

House of Commons@houseofcommons.parliament.uk

Have you ever noticed the doors at the side of the Commons Chamber?

British politics in a nutshell.

Jason McPearson@jasonmcpearson.bsky.social

It really is insane that selling weapons to a country using them to bomb children and commit genocide is not a red line but having a policy that states that it is racist to want a country that treats citizens differently based on their ethnicity/religion IS the red line.

The two state solution has always been absurd. You don't solve one ethnostate by creating a second ethnostate. Particularly when both have religious ties and desires to be in that land. It is a fantasy and it is morally bankrupt. Solving racism with racism. States should not be ethno-. Simple as.

"If those change in the future - such as a successful challenge at the ECHR - then the Court will consider whether the relevant part of the exhibition should be updated." Casually acknowledging that the case is *not settled* but still saying "nuh uh we're still gonna crow about it" is wild.

Ah yes, those famously anti-Semitic Jewish human rights barristers. (/sarcasm). When will @andyburnham.bsky.social see what a farce the @labouruk.bsky.social has become and reverse this?

BREAKING: 94 year old Jewish human rights barrister, Margaret Owen arrested under the Terrorism Act outside Andy Burnham’s Labour Party conference. UK taxpayers are funding these arrests while masked men terrorise the streets in coastal towns. Lift The Ban on Palestine Action.

So gross that @labouruk.bsky.social are planning to authorise drilling after the election. They know the electorate don't want it. They know it's wrong. They know it won't lower our bills. But they'll to do it anyway. Because we don't matter to them. Profits do. Vote Green πŸ’š

Zack Polanski@zackpolanski.bsky.social

Labour are planning to extract more oil and gas from the North Sea despite the thousands of deaths from excess heat this summer. We cannot allow them to win in Holborn & St Pancras and think that they can get away with this. Vote Green. For our communities and our planet.

Damn, sure wish trans people had warned everyone that the same rhetoric used to attack trans people would be reused to attack other people too. Transphobia. Misogyny. Racism. Classism. Ableism. Homophobia. Islamophobia. Anti-Semitism. It's all the same thing and they all follow the same playbook.

I resigned from ExxonMobil today. I spent the last three years doing fossil fuel extraction research at both BP and ExxonMobil. Neither company is acting responsibly. They are racing to maximize extraction while the window to act closes, and gambling with our lives. More below.

Today I met with our trans, non-binary and gender diverse members. So many members have written to us explaining that the updated EHRC guidance is unworkable. I will work with our trans non-binary and gender diverse members to change the law for legal gender recognition.

So GBR is a huge grift then, and the main part of a train network isn't going public at all. Great that Kate is calling this out but damn, this is a classic Labour bait & switch. Why she remains in a party that is clearly fundamentally opposed to all of her principles & views is beyond me.

Kate Osborne MP@kateosbornemp.bsky.social

With Great British Railways, Labour is bringing passenger services into public ownership. But the rolling stock itself will remain in private hands. I support ASLEF campaign to own our trains and have a truly public railway

Thank every deity we still have some politicians who see this as the insensitive evil that it is, and are willing to call out it.

Caroline Russell@carolinerussell.bsky.social

So much for the β€œyou are loved and wanted” campaign. It’s not even a decision made by the Mayor of London. πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ When trans and non binary Londoners and visitors are absorbing the shocking impact of the EHRC Code, the tone of this feels really insensitive.

Really refreshing to see so many councils and green groups standing up against the EHRC's immoral and unworkable slop guidance. Thanks πŸ’š

rochdalegreenparty.bsky.social@rochdalegreenparty.bsky.social

As the new EHRC guidance has come into effect, we reaffirm our opposition to the inhumane segregation and exclusion of transgender people. This is not a win for women's rights, it asks for the policing of women's appearances from service providers. We believe kindness and safety for all. πŸ³οΈβ€βš§οΈ

Fantastic thread detailing why the UK bidding for World Pride in 2032 is a bad thing. πŸ§΅πŸ‘‡

Christyn Parkes@parkesland.bsky.social

I'm not going to engage with sealioning. Let's get back to the matter at hand with a little history lesson: World Pride is a periodic/semi-annual event organized by Texas-based non-profit InterPride. Since 2000, it has been held in 10 cities across the world with varying success. 1/

I spoke to @novaramedia this week about the EHRC's new Code of Practice which has now come into effect. We're seeing trans people's place in society continually questioned by those in positions of power and this code of practice will only increase gender policing. [1/2]

AI is not the answer to any question I'm asking.

Keisson@keisson.com

Businesses are focusing more & more on cutting the thinking out of their processes, using AI. Not us. For the infrastructure that sits under all your services, we understand that security, resilience & stability are a core part of our responsibility, not an inconvenience to be optimised away.

We don't need more data centres. We need to make better use of the data centres we have today. Most businesses running in the cloud massively over provision their virtual machine capacity, and cloud providers are all too happy to sell it to them.

3. We don't need as many servers, not as many racks, not as many massive data centers. No need to build more, and more, and more. We have more than enough capacity today, we don't need to build more. We just need to use what we have better.

This business model is beneficial for everyone: 1. Customers don't have to worry about server management, and are not at risk of overpaying for unused server capacity.

2. I am actively incentivised to use my infrastructure more efficiently. I have to ensure workloads are correctly and efficiently placed to fully make use of the physical resources, because I can't rely on customers picking up my tab for unused node capacity.

We don't need more data centres. We need to make better use of the data centres we have today. Most businesses running in the cloud massively over provision their virtual machine capacity, and cloud providers are all too happy to sell it to them.

But this has created an pandemic of thousands of machines, sat whirring away in super-cooled data centres, doing absolutely nothing. Draining business' bank accounts, for nothing. Using up electricity, for nothing. Damaging the environment, for nothing.

I'm trying to combat this. That's why I built @keisson.com: the serverless Kubernetes platform. I'm throwing out the old virtual machine charging model: I don't charge per server. Instead, I charge per Pod, which is the most atomic unit within a Kubernetes cluster.

For the last 2 years I've been cooking. What if we could have a truly managed Kubernetes platform that takes the headache of running a cluster off your hands? And what if we could do it in a serverless way, to massively reduce wasteful compute usage? Announcing @keisson.com, which does just that!

Keisson@keisson.com

Kubernetes might be unmatched for orchestrating your containerised apps, the management overhead is hard to swallow. We get it. That’s why we created Keisson. Keisson is a platform that packs all the power and potential of Kubernetes but takes all the hard work off your hands.

So the Gender Recognition Act 2004 truly is completely meaningless now it seems. One wonders what "for all purposes" was intended to cover...

Sarah Owen MP@sarahowen.org.uk

Organisations which also want to remain trans-inclusive need to receive support on how to do so within the law. In a similar way, those that wish to exclude trans men and women from their spaces also need to know how to do so without breaching individual rights to privacy. (6/7)
