Trying out a new medium (acrylic ink) and doing my first self portrait in 10 years! It’s a bit too pink, and I lost the white of the paper on the bottom lip, but I am pleased with the outcome! I still prefer watercolour 😂

it's looking great Emily!! the skin rendition especially is making me awe, I would never say this was a medium you're not used to

I think you did an excellent job, but I understand how frustrating that is! lifting the pigment helps and adds so much to the watercolor process
