Honestly Carney is bit right of Mulroney and closer to Harris than he is of old Red Tories or the current “conservatives”… and look what happened when in Ontario under Harris.

Liberal partisan here, and no I did not vote for this. Would a deputy P.M. help , one who had domestic/ federation concerns paramount? I fear for Canadian democracy as all attention on global affairs. Marc Miller comes to mind.

In our defense, we had a limited draft class and the neolib banker wrote a whole book on "Values" (alt. title: "Value$"), & seemed to be sincere re: climate/env. However, in retrospect he's a billionaire BFF who is a canny negotiator with enough charisma to run a great long con.
