Yeah, basically a rewrite—but using the original artwork, sounds, "physics", and house files. It's in C++, using SDL2 (I should move to SDL3). The latter allows me to compile for Windows, Mac, Unix (Steam).

FreePascal and Lazarus are kind of a secret weapon though. It's amazing (to me) that they get overlooked so often for other languages/toolkits.
