Google is required to include any search engine that meets specific criteria, such as having an app with over 5,000 installs, in the default list for Android and Chrome. We'd love it if you install the Kagi app and help us meet the criteria! We're almost there: play.google.com/store/apps/d...

That's cool and all, but the app seems to just be a wrapper for the mobile website. Do you plan to make the app feel more like a native app instead of a web wrapper?

The good news is our roadmap is packed with features to boost the app's power and native feel, including native search with camera integration for reverse image search, and curated widgets and shortcuts for Kagi products like Assistant, Summarizer, and Translate.
