The bike rack at MIA is as full as I’ve ever seen it, which I assume is because of the one-day voting popup, but if some of us are here to look at art I can’t be too mad about it

It’s the voting. I had to wait in a line! In October! (It was a short line, come on down.)

I am also here for the art. The crop art! Some of my favorite work at the State Fair this year was rye. I didn’t know crop art could shimmer!

At the Fair we don’t get artists’ statements. MIA gives us a chance to learn how the artists think about their work. These two really got me. (90,000 quinoa seeds!)

Some good outfits upstairs, too.
