Since SNAP benefits are gone next month and the new ACA enrollment hikes also start to reveal themselves to consumers... it's wild to think that both programs are tilted towards states AND demographics that favored Trump in '24 The stove beckons

when West Virginia suddenly remembers its roots and they start snagging feds and throwing em down mine shafts don't be surprised and def don't stand in their way

Also, stuff does matter. It already mattered in ways that changed the outcome eg. Trump not being POTUS 2021-25. Ukraine would've fallen, Putin would be in the Baltic right now. The admin would be 4y into what you might call "Project 2021".

I realize what happens as a result of stuff mattering NOW is very different than 2020. I only mean that we have ironclad proof stuff matters. So it's not "Does stuff matter?" but "What can people do about the fact that it matters?"

"Nothing matters" is the delusion that the TV can continue defeating the fridge forever. But at some point people start noticing the bleak emptiness of their fridge has nothing to do with the cheerful government propaganda on TV.

I think a lot of Americans are going to start paying attention to what Trump is up to in the coming month when they can no longer afford to feed their kids, and they see their insurance premiums rise dramatically and so much it will be impossible to afford insurance at all.

What are the odds Trump finds an "anonymous donor" to pay for a month worth of SNAP benefits but only in Republican and swing states? (A question that I would've posed only sarcastically even a month ago, but now seriously.)
