Unloading day for the wood kiln!

Here we go! I was running around too fast to do live updates. But most everything came out great?

The very back floor of the kiln was wild. This was the spot that got way too hot way too soon. Turns out the side effect of that was more ash on the work. The ash isn’t gonna stay on a pot until the glaze is melted - and sticky. More time hot? More time sticky. Way more melted ash!

The front was really sold. Couple of dry areas. The crab bowl looks wild! Mostly of that shell will dissolve into dust, but we were amazing that the barnacles stayed.

It’s a beauty mark on that beast!
