Since folks are bringing up their "Klip is an asshole" story, here's mine. Four years ago he co-authored an Intercept story that was just... wrong. On almost every level. And helped kick off the MAGA obsession that the Biden admin colluded with social media to "censor conservatives." I called it out

was it one of his specials where he generally has the correct data in front of him, and yet somehow just … wildly misunderstands it? That’s the pattern I’ve always seen. Totally failing to understand what he’s looking at, and/or weirdly fixating on something that’s completely beside the point.

It wasn't data. But, yes, he had some documents which he wildly misunderstood in ways that SHOULD have been embarrassing and should have resulted in the retraction of the entire article.
