Read again Dan. Irony alert. My first trip to US to see my wife's family I used a couple of times "he's taking the piss" and "he can't remember a thing, cos he was really pissed". Met with blank confusion.

"WOT ABOUT TEH GREAT WORKZ OF ART AND PHILOSOPHY!?" When was the last time you were in a Museum, Dave? Doing a lot of Homeric poetry readings this weekend, mate? "WHAT ABOUT LIBERAL DEMOKRACY?" Dunno man, Muslims voted fine in Gorton and Denton and Matt Goodwin is still crying about it.

Yeah but they mostly voted the same way so thats shady. They should have all voted for the party that says they're to blame for everything bad and wants to deport them then we'd know they were trying to fit in.

Also lumping literally the entire world outside of Britain into one group... Antal Szerb had a novel happening in Wales (The Legend of Pendragon) that had a sentence in it that my father use to describe the English attitude:

```He (a character in the book) split mankind into two groups "from Connemara" and "not from Connemara"``` For me fter 20+ years in the UK this single sentence from the thirties still describes best this society...
