There's no conscription in Ukraine. Most of the US aid for Ukraine comes back to the US, not as political donations but as purchases of US arms.

Ukraine absolutely does have conscription. Most US aid was military aid in the form of actual weapons, often from stocks or surplus, so your second statement is broadly true but people should know it's mostly not Ukrainians putting in orders with Lockheed but the US, resupplying itself.
