That's why America needs paper ballots, like pretty much everywhere else in the world. Organize people to do the counting, and it's just a matter of hours until you have results everywhere. IT'S NOT THAT HARD and it's significantly harder to cheat.

Touch terminals are used by disabled folks as well, and have been a good addition to voter accessibility. Touch terminals print out a paper ballot so the voter can immediately verify their choices.

Still no guarantee whatsoever that the vote receipt you get is the same that is input in the system. Yes, you can add and remove or even trash and burn paper ballots, but you can't hack them or make it so that they change the result the second you insert them in the box.
