Fascinating how some people suddenly think that we should shut up about the horrible global suffering unleashed by US actions because "it might make American voters feel bad"..... but ONLY if we're talking about the suffering caused by Trump's execution of USAID.

I seem to recall quite a few of these same people strongly advocating for making the American voting public witness the horrible suffering caused by Israel, with US support, in Gaza. Even if it made them feel bad. What's the different here, exactly?

I am merely asking for some consistency regarding "should we make American voters feel bad about horrible suffering unleashed on the world as a result of the actions of our elected leaders"

I mean isn’t it the same logic as removing topics from the classroom bc it might make the white students feel bad, etc etc. If it’s bad, then one should feel bad, one should feel shame, one should acknowledge what the right thing should’ve been.

I'm looking for are louder voices coming from positions of power as well as the press challenging this administration on these deaths... and those coming from the imminent shutting down of vaccination programs worldwide. Why do so many appear disinterested?🤷🏻‍♂️
