Virtue signaling is good and we should do a hell of a lot more of it. It's literally signaling the values of your society to other members of that society and young people don't just magically have values as some innate feature within them. They're given to them through osmosis by those they watch.

it makes no sense that it's okay to signal what sports team you like and what beer you drink and what car logo Calvin should piss on, but signaling your DEEPLY HELD VALUES is cringe
