Question! What does a good indie gamedev website landing page look like? Are there any cool ones? Mine's out of date and also boring, so it's time for a refresh. Obvs I don't want to spend much time on it though 'cos nobody looks at these anymore...

blink text, clip art, jokerman or comic sans for most text. a lot of gradients. ensure your images are <100KB, but gifs can go up to 200KB as long as they're interlaced

Ha! The other answer I got was single paragraph, change fonts, colours, styles for emphasis (but never change back), font gets larger and sentences get longer the further you scroll.

Actually... having looked at a bunch of people's sites, that kinda resonates with the content. Usually you see a curated list of popular stuff up front, then any other stuff the developer might earn from, then you scroll down into the smaller, weirder, slimier, pointier things.

hmmm. yeah, i guess it's interesting to use that to see how priorities tend to be distributed! i've been meaning to make a website that has everything on it in, but it's too overwhelming, so i have tended towards the things i earn from. i guess i'd better update my site to reflect my new priorities.
