Nice 🤩 I did not know about standard-schema 🤯 I'm pretty sure I can leverage it in a generic manner to build arbitraries instances for @fast-check.dev instead of having one specific binding per library. Bookmarking the repo for later

At least I could implement the spec and be a schema validation tool. A very imperfect one as it's not our goal even if we do things that could be related. Depending how much detail gets exposed via this schema some 'generate fake value matching schema' could be doable. But not now 🤔

@ssalbdivad.dev is there a world where such schemas could be leveraged by other tools like faker or fast-check to generate values whatever the validator? Or would they always need a deeper and tailored integration? (I feel the answer is probably the last one)

structural introspection isn't part of the current spec and probably never will be. we could potentially add optional methods like `~.mock()` to the spec so libraries that support certain operations can "advertise" that functionality

Looks totally sane 👍 Mostly asking as I know of several bindings xxx to fast-check including one for zod, one for arktype... But having such standardized introspection seems crazy when thinking of it 😅
