The entire video game industry is no stranger to anti-consumer practices, but requiring 2 active PlayStation Plus subscriptions for couch co-op is truly some next-level nonsense.

This is making me wish even more that Campaign Evolved (or just Master Chief Collection, I’ll take Master Chief Collection, hell I might *prefer* just that) were coming to Switch 2. I have NSO! I have an NSO family! We’re covered on that platform! 💀

You wouldn't even need it. It's a sony issue. Xbox and pc don't require a paid membership for spilt screen. I'm pretty sure a mortal kombat game had the same issue years ago. I vaguely remember avgn trying to play and having issues. 99% sure Nintendo never engages in this stuff.
