Hi there! I try to use Flashes but it publishes everything I post on BlueSky. I want something separated where I can curate my art on Flashes and still shitpost here without crossing the flux. Is that possible without creating a separate account?

Unfortunately not yet. Requires moderation -> requires money. There will be somewhat of a solution with the upcoming (optional) Stories feature. But the grand question of moderation will be solved at a later date - most likely with the “Commons moderation” work we’re doing at @eurosky.social

Well, people post something offending. Others need to be able to report it, someone needs to look at it and take it down if it violates the TOSs. With Bluesky posts Bluesky does that. With Flashes‘ posts someone from Flashes would have to do that.

Eu também acho que o flashes ficava mil vezes melhor do que o Instagram se desse pra postar fotos e vídeos só nele sem ficar no bluesky aí ficava legal demais, mais tudo que postar nele ficar no bluesky é muito chato ele tá mais pra uma galeria pra o bluesky de que pra uma rede social 😅

I am an alpha Android tester and I can say that the first version already exceeds my expectations. Of course it is a rudimentary version but it clearly shows that Flashes is going in the right direction.

I'd really love to help QA! I've got manual QA testing and ticketing experience for a fairly large sharing marketplace app which I'll happily name in DMs.
