Oh no. You’re telling me the Marvel/Star Wars crossover comic has the premise that Marvel already knows about Star Wars as a movie.

Oh god. Are they just Last Action Hero’ing this thing? I suppose that’s the correct level of regard to give Star Wars these days

I hate judging it by a three page preview because anything can happen, but you’d think a self-aware winkfest would let a little air out of the preorder tires.

I mean, marvel fans are not always the most discerning so I guess why go to the effort to make this a classy affair?

Actually, that could be how they’re factually correct with the “and it’s MaRVeL CaNoN!” nonsense, by having it all be a dopey mass hallucination/dream/fiction world made temporarily real.
