ah man, after hearing this “AI is just a tool” crud from one of my favorite artists recently when trying to hawk his AI vinyl art, this is really refreshing to hear.

"Tools afford some behaviors and discourage others" is a concept that is too difficult for the average AI thought leader to grasp, unfortunately.

A hammer requires whole worlds to participate in its creation and use. When we are considering the ethics of a hammer, how we choose to swing it is hardly the most important thing worth talking about.
